Growth of WeBecome :

WeBecome started with a humble practice as a one person start-up company, and launched its services in Singapore on 7th May, 2000. Over the years of existence WeBecome has established itself as a global services player in the recruitment and professional services business.

WeBecome takes you on a walk along its memory lane of some key events during its growth stages.

2000: WeBecome launched its services in Singapore, providing services in Singapore.

14th September, 2000: WeBecome commences operations in India. The Indian operation focuses on the domestic market in India, and provides strategic support to global operations.

2002: WeBecome commences operations in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

 

2004: WeBecome commences operations in USA with sales operations in California.

2005: WeBecome commences operations in UAE, (Dubai) in Dubai Internet City for its IT Consulting practice. WeBecome USA commences operations in New Jersey for its Recruitment practice.

2006: WeBecome commences operations in Australia, Melbourne.

2007: WeBecome commences servicing customers in Qatar, Vietnam and China.

2008: WeBecome commences operations in Pune, India.

  • People work for people, not organizations. I view WeBecome as a company that can grow, if its people can grow, and I place challenges to my people every day, to move them to the next level. The highest need in a human, is to excel and become what he/she can inherently achieve. It's the ability and capability in people that shapes WeBecome very differently from so many other human capital solutions or professional services companies. This is good for our people.

  • This is where we are different from large global M.N.C's who we compete with. We are an M.N.C. with an S.M.E. mindset and a global power of execution. Our people, are our differentiator, because they are not necessary like minded, but they have a singular vision, to help our customers achieve their business goals. This is good for our company.

  • For me, the thrill initially was survival, then sustaining, and finally growing, without compromising on ideals and ethics. I started a business with mixed ambitions of retaining the spirit of idealism and rewarding entrepreneurial effort. Today youngsters do, what I did when I started in 2000, with higher benchmarks and goals for success. This is immensely satisfying, because we built our business on a step-by-step brick by brick model of revenues on a self-funded effort, and thus have our lifetime's commitment in the creation of our companies. This is good for clients.

  • Today its all about making WeBecome an exciting place to work for, without hurting an individual's interests, and yet bind the company across multiple locations as one.
